Job Application Autofill is a Chrome extension that fills job application forms from data stored on your own device.
The extension stores the following on your device only, using chrome.storage.local and extension-owned IndexedDB:
Nothing. The extension has no developer server, no account system, no sync, no analytics, and no telemetry. Your data is never transmitted to the developer.
AI assistance is disabled by default. If you enable an AI provider and supply your own API key, the extension sends requests directly from its background service worker to that provider. Requests are limited to sanitized form questions and options, the page title, the ATS/domain identity, and relevant values from your profile. The extension excludes cookies, passwords, hidden fields, payment fields, URL query parameters, and raw page HTML. Data sent to a provider is processed under that provider’s own privacy policy.
The extension requests optional access to HTTP/HTTPS pages so it can detect and fill job application forms, and — when learning is enabled — save reusable answers from fields you type into. Learned answers stay on your device, and learning can be paused or individual answers deleted at any time from the extension’s options page. The extension does not submit applications, click navigation buttons, accept legal attestations, solve CAPTCHAs, fill password or payment fields, or bypass site controls.
All data remains on your device until you remove it. You can edit or delete profile data and learned answers from the options page, and uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.
Updates will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
